There are limited opportunities for tree and bench donations in the park. The FWP Board and City of Frederick arborist must approve tree locations and species. All trees must be native to eastern North America or cultivars of same. Depending on tree size, donations can be $250-450. This includes planting and signage. For benches, the City must approve the location and type of bench. Benches must have a ‘natural’ look. Minimum cost will be at least $500. Donors can coordinate with the FWP Board to choose the bench; then we will ask for City approval. Please email info@friendsofwaterfordpark.org to discuss donations.
